
GATHM Residents,
The Board Of Directors will be accomplishing our annual walk-through June 13th, 14th and 20th . During this walk-through we will be inspecting houses/townhouses, landscaping/lawns, and other concerning issues. We will also be addressing any modification to the exterior of a home or yard that were not approved by the Board. If you have previous violations that have not been fixed please address these before the walk-though so we can clear your violation(s).
The following is a really good idea of the items to be inspected. (This is not an all-inclusive list.)
Houses/Townhouses
- Discoloration of front steps and/or siding and brickwork
- Door, shutters, and/or woodwork in an unapproved color
- Inappropriate items stored in plain view (i.e. trash, rubbish)
- Loose cables on house
- Front door needs repainting
- Wooden trim needs cleaning, caulking, repainting or replacement
- Damaged fascia or rake boards (just below roof)
- Cracked windows or lanterns
- Torn/missing screens
- Unprofessional repairs or installations
- Broken or missing splash blocks for downspouts
- Roof shingles or ridge vent damaged or missing
- Siding with loose or missing parts
- Gutters that need cleaning and/or unclogging or have nails protruding excessively
- Unapproved signs
- Peeling, faded and/or missing number plates for mailboxes (Lindberg Drive)
Landscaping
- Weeds in flower/mulch beds
- Weeding/mowing lawn
- Patches of dead grass in lawn
- Untidy flower/mulch beds
- Shrubs in need of pruning
- Dead trees/shrubs/plants
- Vines out of control on house
- Yard ornaments broken or in disrepair
- Fence with loose, broken, severely warped, or missing parts
- Trees in need of limbing, pruning, and/or shaping (this included trees encroaching on a neighbor’s property)
